Epson Ink

- DURABrite Ultra ink is a pigment based ink technology giving superior image quality along with water, smudge and light resistance. It uses four individual Epson colour cartridges, meaning you only have to replace the colours you use most, saving you money. This ink gives longevity to everything printed, from ordinary text documents to images and photographs, it is used in many popular inkjet printers like the Epson Stylus D120 and in the new all in one series Stylus SX printers like the Epson Stylus SX200.
- Claria photographic ink provides rich, professional quality photos that last for 200 years when stored in an album, they are also smudge and water resistant. Printers using this ink have six individual Epson colour ink cartridges, the addition of a light cyan and light magenta cartridge give greater colour definition. The Epson Stylus Photo R285 printer uses these cartridges and to replace them all can be expensive, to buy cheap Epson ink cartridges for this range the secret is to buy a multipack like the T0807 that reduces the cost per cartridge.
- UltraChrome Hi-Gloss inks main function is to produce vivid and uniformly glossy prints. In addition to the standard Cyan, Magenta and Yellow, this ink set also features Red and Blue as well as a Gloss optimiser T0540. Red and Blue inks extend the colour gamut while the Gloss optimiser ensures uniform glossy prints, Photo printers Epson Stylus Photo R800 and R1800 use this original Epson ink.
- UltraChrome K3 ink's new pigment and resin improve glossiness and D-max readings on glossy media, and provide reduced colour inconsistency under different light sources to ensure you get superior photographs under any light conditions. Until now, light colour inks were used to produce grey mid-tones and highlights. With the introduction of a Light Light Black cartridge, T0599, Epson UltraChrome K3 ink improves overall grey balance while eliminating colour casts. This ink is used exclusively in the Epson Stylus Photo R2400.
