OKI Printing Solutions (brand name for OKI Data Corporation) today announced it has joined the SAP® Printer Vendor program as a gold-level member. OKI’s customers will enjoy high-quality printing that is optimized for use with SAP systems.
SAP launched this program in collaboration with other printer manufacturers to optimize support for devices that operate within customers’ SAP solution-based environments.
Customers using SAP applications in conjunction with OKI Printing Solutions’ products will now have full access to functions such as stapling as part of the finishing process, image adjustment and print confirmation.
Additional benefits resulting from the SAP Printer Vendor program are as follows:
- Makes it easier for IT staff to locate and assign the correct device types since the device types are included in the standard SAP software, which also has a wizard for this purpose.
- Helps ensure that device types have been properly tested, and then validated by SAP to function as advertised.
